On February 14, Tianjin Tiankai Youda Haihe Baiying Equity Investment Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership) (hereinafter referred to as "Tiankai Youda Baiying Equity Investment Fund") successfully completed the filing and registration with the Asset Management Association of China.
This fund is an equity investment fund jointly established by Wuqing Development Area, Haier Group, and Tiankai Development Group, with a scale of 137.5 million RMB. It mainly focuses on investing in the large health industry including medical technology, medical devices, medical services, as well as smart technology industries such as AI, high-end equipment, and semiconductors. Tiankai Higher Education Science and Innovation Park is a science and technology innovation incubation base primarily focused on scientific and technological innovation research and development. The establishment of the Tiankai Youda Baiying Equity Investment Fund aims to strengthen collaboration with the Tiankai Higher Education Science and Innovation Park and promote the implementation of scientific and technological achievements.
The Central Economic Work Conference held in December 2024 pointed out that it is necessary to improve a multi-level financial service system, strengthen patient capital, attract more social capital to participate in venture capital, cultivate innovative enterprises at different levels, deepen comprehensive reform of capital market financing and investment, clear blockages for medium- and long-term funds entering the market, and enhance the inclusiveness and adaptability of capital market systems.
To better promote the integrated development of finance and industry, Wuqing Development Area sets its development goals as 'resource integration, strength enhancement, and efficiency improvement'.
