Development History

On December 28, 1991, China Tianjin Technology industrial park Wuqing development area was built approved by State Council, On June 23, 1992, it began to build after the foundation stone laying ceremony.

In June of 1992, Wujing economic development area was built approved by Tianjin government;
In June of 1992, Wujing economic development area was built approved by Tianjin government;
On December 30, 2010, Wuqing economic development area upgraded to be national level economic technology development area approved by State Council.

In December of 2014, State Council approved to construct Tianjin national independent innovation demonstration area, including “ One area and twenty-one parks”, among of which, the core area includes 5 regions involving Wuqing development area.
