Recently, the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of city level industrial theme parks for 2024, and the Wuqing Low Carbon Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Industry Theme Park operated by Wuqing Development Area was listed.
The planned area of Wuqing Low Carbon Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Industry Theme Park is about 0.75 square kilometers, and the developed and constructed area is about 0.7 square kilometers. The park relies on advantageous resources such as Danfoss, TICA Environment, VK, and SECOP, and focuses on the industrial refrigeration characteristic industry system, taking multiple measures to promote the improvement, expansion, and efficiency of the leading industry. Among them, Danfoss has invested in the construction of a global refrigeration R&D and testing center with an area of approximately 7306.61 square meters in the park. It has globally leading technical equipment and first-class industry experts in the development of green and environmentally friendly refrigerants and other refrigeration products. It is the first and largest vortex compressor R&D and testing center of Danfoss Group in the world. As of now, the park has 7 leading low-carbon industrial refrigeration equipment enterprises and 4 backbone enterprises in the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. It has global leading technological advantages in the fields of compressors, thermal expansion valves, temperature control valves, household and commercial refrigeration equipment, etc. In 2023, Wuqing Development Area will achieve a total industrial output value of 5.814 billion yuan for key enterprises, with a leading industry clustering rate of 99.4%.
The Wuqing Low Carbon Industrial Refrigeration Equipment Industry Theme Park is led by leading enterprises such as Danfoss and TICA Environmen, and continues to maintain long-term industry university research deep cooperation with universities and institutes inside and outside the city such as Tianjin University. At the same time, the park is fully implementing talent projects, accelerating the gathering of high-end talents, and has assisted 49 enterprises in identifying 489 district level ABC talents.
