Recently, Tianjin Novo Medical Laboratory passed the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Solid Tumor NGSST-A 2024 inter laboratory quality evaluation organized by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) with full marks. With its strong professionalism, stable accuracy, and excellent quality management system, it has once again obtained international certification.
NGSST-A is a project used to evaluate the overall detection capability of global genetic diagnostic laboratories using NGS technology to detect variations in solid tumor tissue, including experimental procedures, bioinformatics analysis, and report interpretation. In this test, all 16 genes including EGFR, ERBB2, ALK, BRAF, CDKN2A, DICER1, etc. were tested and passed by Tianjin Novo Medical Laboratory.
As of now, Tianjin Novo Medical Laboratory has passed the CAP proficiency test twice a year with full marks for 8 consecutive years.
