South Korean Biopharmaceutical Enterprises Visit Wuqing Development Area for Cooperation and Exchange

To accelerate the development of the biopharmaceutical industry in Wuqing, vigorously attract foreign enterprises to gather in Wuqing for development, and build a high-quality open economic system, on the afternoon of September 10, Wuqing Development Area held a China-South Korea enterprise cooperation exchange event. The Investment Promotion Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of China's office in South Korea organized a group of South Korean biopharmaceutical enterprises to visit enterprises in Wuqing Development Area and carry out pragmatic negotiation and exchange.
During the event, the South Korean biopharmaceutical enterprise group visited the Digital Red Sun Experience Hall, and learned in detail about the development history of the enterprise, the development situation of the six major business segments, and the future development plan.
At the cooperation and exchange meeting, Li Fuguo, Chairman and General Manager of Wuqing Development Area Co., Ltd., warmly welcomed the arrival of the South Korean biopharmaceutical enterprise group, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of China's office in South Korea for their support and help. The biopharmaceutical industry, as one of the "dual high-leading" industries of our district's intelligent technology and biopharmaceutical industry, has developed into a relatively complete industrial chain. At present, Wuqing District is taking the promotion of the Jing-Jin-Ji coordinated development strategy as the strategic traction, increasing the intensity of reform and innovation, planning and constructing the Wuqing Beijing-Tianjin Industrial New City at a high level, and accelerating the cultivation and development of new quality productive forces. It is believed that through this exchange, both sides can carry out extensive and pragmatic cooperation in technology research and development, project cooperation, and talent exchange, promote mutual benefit and win-win, and jointly create a new model of China-South Korea biopharmaceutical industry cooperation. Subsequently, Yan Wenjie, Deputy General Manager of Wuqing Development Area Co., Ltd., introduced in detail to the representatives the overall situation of Wuqing District, the construction of Wuqing Beijing-Tianjin Industrial New City, and the investment environment of Wuqing Development Area. The representatives of the participating South Korean enterprises and Wuqing Development Area enterprises introduced their respective development in technology innovation, product research and development, and market expansion, and put forward cooperation demands.
Finally, Vice President of the South Korean International Biopharmaceutical Association, Li Chengkui, issued a special invitation to Zhang Chaoyang, Director of the Wuqing District Bureau of Commerce, for the 2025 South Korean International Biopharmaceutical Conference.
It is understood that after full exchange and docking, some enterprises have reached preliminary cooperation intentions.
