"Based on 'autonomous controllability' and 'domestic substitution', we have become the first enterprise in the China Railway Group system to carry out semiconductor chip design. We have launched the RFID chip - 'HVEIC Jiuxiao' and the general MCU chip - 'HVEIC Qiankun' project. Based on the chips, we have developed fully controllable terminal products and expanded to the toolchain and operating system level," said Tao Cui, Chairman of Tianjin HVEIC Technology Co., Ltd.
The RFID chip, "HVEIC Jiuxiao" can satisfy the upgrading and replacement of railway electronic tags, while being compatible with the ISO 18000-6C general protocol. It can be widely used in asset management and IoT applications in various industries, and is expected to be packaged and tested in July this year. The MCU chip, "HVEIC Qiankun" is a general-purpose high-performance MCU that can handle complex scenes, has diverse communication interfaces, enables digital and analog mixed applications, and operates fast, with high integration and strong computing power. It is expected to be packaged and tested in October this year.
Located in the Wuqing Development Area, Tianjin HVEIC Technology Co., Ltd. is invested by Harbin Railway Technology Group Corporation (formerly Harbin Railway Bureau Scientific Research Institute). It focuses on core technologies such as comprehensive detection of locomotive vehicles, structured light 3D measurement, machine vision, the Internet of Things, robotic equipment, virtual simulation, smart sensors, and semiconductor chip design. Currently, the Automatic Train Identification System (ATIS) has been widely used in China's railway system, which can automatically identify railway train numbers and locomotive vehicle numbers, and provide accurate and reliable train number data in real time, becoming the basic data source of the railway. Tianjin HVEIC is the drafting unit of the national standard for the Automatic Train Identification System, and has participated in the drafting of multiple railway industry standards, technical conditions, and maintenance and operation regulations. The AEI-S1 automatic train identification equipment is a unified equipment announced by the former China Railway Corporation based on the HTK-07A AEI equipment developed by Tianjin HVEIC. It improves the stability and reliability of the work, enhances the accuracy of axle counting and vehicle identification, and strengthens functions such as self-checking of health status, online comprehensive detection, remote maintenance, and management. It is widely used in railway main lines.
Currently, Tianjin HVEIC's products are widespread in 18 railway bureau group companies under China Railway Group, National Energy Group, CRRC, and local railways, and are promoted and applied in multiple urban rail transit industries. With the national "Belt and Road" initiative, the products have been exported to Singapore, Argentina, Australia, Guinea, South Africa, and other countries.
