1. Park News
UDA (Wuqing Development Area) has made a "good start" in the first quarter. It introduced a total of 50 high-quality projects with the fully funded value of 1.775 billion yuan, and reached the gross industrial output value above designated size 11.139 billion yuan, the wholesale and retail sales above designated size 13.024 billion yuan attracting the investment in fixed assets 1.99 billion yuan with the tax revenue 1.77 billion yuan.
On April 7th, the joint venture between Hop Hing Restaurant Group (Hong Kong) and Yoshinoya China Investment Co., Ltd. (Japan) was settled in UDA.
On April 19th, the opening ceremony of the Party Building Alliance of Wuqing District City Railway Business District was held in Wuqing V1 Auto World Park.
On April 27th, as the cooperative program between Tianjin and Gansu, the special investment promotion meeting of Pingliang City, Gansu Province was held in UDA.
On April 28th, UDA signed a co-construction agreement with Beijing Beihua Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. to build Wuqing IUR (Industry-University-Research) Base of Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
On the afternoon of April 28th, UDA held a themed work conference on "Consolidating Efforts to Promote Development, Striving for Improvement in Quality and Efficiency", listened to work reports on the progress from January to April, summarized highlights and characteristics, pointed out problems and shortcomings, further clarified ideas and directions, refined measures, and strengthened implementation to advance the future works.
2. Enterprises News
On April 1st, V1 Auto World Park held the largest racing themed carnival in northern China in 2023. The event lasted for 4 days with nearly 40,000 visitors in attendance.
On April 12th, the groundbreaking ceremony of Canaan Biomedical Equipment Manufacturing Center was held in UDA.
Recently, 6 enterprises in UDA were listed in the first batch of SRI (Specialization, Refinement and Innovation）SME (small and medium-sized enterprises) in 2023 (Part I), jointly published by Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Finance.
Recently, Yuanyi Biotechnology, a synthetic biology enterprise in UDA, signed a cooperation agreement with Sinopharm Taiji to jointly promote the development of the biomedical industry.
On April 18th, Crown Forklift Commercial Co., Ltd. Tianjin Branch held an opening ceremony.
On April 20th, Tianjin Choice Medical Device Co., Ltd. conducted the inauguration ceremony of the intelligent manufacturing base.
3. Work Safety
On April 22nd, UDA held a safety production meeting to convey and study the spirit of the district\'s conference on safety production, and make detailed deployment for the future work in the park.
April 15th of 2023 is the eighth National Security Education Day. UDA and the police station jointly carried out the "National Security Education Day" publicity activity in the high-tech apartment.
4. Enterprise Service
Recently, UDA held a biomedical industry matchmaking meeting, where 12 biopharmaceutical enterprises gathered together to seek deep win-win cooperation with respective advantages for better development.
A few days ago, the representative of Danfoss (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. sent a banner to UDA to show their gratitude for coordinating the fire protection acceptance work of the project in time during the Spring Festival, ensuring the overall operation of the company and solving the urgent needs.
Recently, a lecture titled "How to motivate employees to fully engage in work?" was conducted at the Saide Business Conference Center in UDA. Over 20 leaders from relevant enterprises were in attendance.
On April 20th, the "Private Enterprise Service Month" activity in Wuqing District entered Tiens College and held the "Happy Wuqing Waiting for You" campus double election meeting.
On April 21th, UDA conducted a training meeting on "Anti-fraud and Employment Management" at the Saide Business Conference Center.
On April 21th, UDA held a forum to promote the high-quality development of private enterprises and the third entrepreneur symposium of the UDA Chamber of Commerce in 2023, aiming to solve the enterprises’ problems and further promote the high-quality development of the private economy in the park with on-site office, on-site handover, and time-limited solution,.
5. Party and Mass Work
On April 13th, the labor union of TBEA International Engineering Co., Ltd. held the third session of the third workers congress in 2023. Accompanied by the leaders of UDA Federation of Trade Unions, Relevant responsible officials from the Wuqing District Federation of Trade Unions attended the meeting and offered guidance for the company’s Trade Unions.
April 23rd is World Reading Day. The Party Committee, the Federation of Trade Unions, the Youth League Working Committee and the Women\'s Federation of UDA jointly carried out a reading activity themed "Learning Theory, Improving Quality, Strengthening Party Spirit and Forging Loyalty " in Wuqing library.
From April 26th to 28th, the Federation of Trade Unions of UDA Co., Ltd. held an online award-winning knowledge competition activity titled "Learning Theory, Improving Quality, Strengthening Party Spirit, and Forging Loyalty" to further strengthen the political literacy and comprehensive quality of cadres and employees, and to create a strong atmosphere of valuing and adhering to learning.
