On April 12th,the foundation stone laying ceremony of Canaan Biomedical Equipment Manufacturing Center was held in Wuqing Development Area.
This project is invested and constructed by Canaan(Tianjin)Technology Co.LTD.,a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Canaan Technology CO.,LTD(hereinafter referred to as“Canaan Technology”),whose total investment will reach 240 million yuan,with an area of 60 acres and a total construction area of 50,000 square meters.It is planned to build a biopharmaceutical equipment R&D and manufacturing base,consisting of six functional modules:simulation design,digital workshop,automated warehousing and logistics,product life-cycle management,product intelligent service platform,and product application demonstration.
At the ceremony,Fang Zheng,chairman of Canaan Technology,said that the construction of Canaan Biopharmaceutical Equipment Manufacturing Center,which integrates R&D,simulation,production and validation,will further meet the demand for automated and intelligent production,and at the same time give play to the location advantage and form good synergy with the existing production base,which is of great strategic significance for the company to improve and strengthen the layout of biopharmaceutical equipment.Subsequently,Canaan Technology will rely on the center to build an intelligent life and health industry ecology,create a national research and development platform,establish a high-end pharmaceutical equipment industry 4.0 research institute,gather outstanding scientific and technological leaders in the industry,develop more key core process equipment,actively promote in-depth cooperation with the majority of pharmaceutical enterprises,and contribute Canaan’s strength to local economic development.
Li Fuguo,Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Wuqing Development Area Co.,Ltd.,expressed congratulations on the successful groundbreaking of the project.He said that Canaan Technology is a well-known listed enterprise in China’s pharmaceutical equipment industry,and the landing of Canaan Biopharmaceutical Equipment Manufacturing Center will provide a technology platform for biopharmaceutical technology development,key technologies for the creation of new chemical drugs and the research and development of injectable formulation technology,which will play a positive role in promoting the development of biopharmaceutical industry clustering in Wuqing Development Area.Wuqing Development Area will always adhere to the concept of“serving others is developing ourselves”,to serve the project construction with more practical measures,and work closely with enterprises to write a new chapter of high-quality development in the new era!
