In order to do well in key projects and talent services,on the afternoon of May 9th,Gao Jintian,member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and director of the Organization Department,led a team to investigate the Wuqing Biomedical Technology Research&Development and Service Platform of Nankai University.Zhan Xianhua,Chairman of Nankai University Tianjin Alumni Association,Yang Cheng,Dean of College of Pharmacy Nankai University,and relevant responsible comrades from the Organization Department of the District Committee,the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau,the District Science and Technology Bureau and the Development Zone participated the research.

Gao Jintian and his delegation visited the Wuqing Biomedical Technology R&D and Service Platform of Nankai University and listened to the introduction of the development of the platform.

During the discussion,Gao Jintian introduced the industrial layout,talents and science and technology policies of Wuqing District,inquired in detail about the problems encountered by the enterprise in the development process,and coordinated on the spot with relevant departments such as the Organization Department of the District Party Committee,the District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau,and the District Science and Technology Bureau to fully supported the sustainable development of the platform,to add new momentum for the innovative development of the regional biomedical industry.

It is understood that the College of Pharmacy Nankai University jointly built the Nankai University-Wuqing Biomedical Technology R&D and Service Platform with the Development Zone in January 2021.The platform had a high-level scientific research team of more than 40 people including national-level experts and chief scientists from 863/973 projects.More than 80%of them have master\'s degrees,who have 5 invention patents and 1 PCT patent.
With a total investment of 20million yuan,the platform has purchased advanced instruments and equipment such as holographic image scanners,live animal imager,flow cytometry,etc.,which has a multi-dimensional innovative drug research and development technology system including molecular-cell-animal multi-level,toxicology,pharmacokinetics and preparations.At present,it has served more than 10 innovative drug development projects,and its key technologies and equipment have provided more than 100 technical services to many biopharmaceutical enterprises,universities and research institutes in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei.
