For the time being,Danfoss has secured the engineering and construction certificates for the"Danfoss Global Refrigeration R&D Test Center"project,and work is set to begin after the Spring Festival.
Danfoss is a 100%Danish company.In 1995,it was founded in the Wuqing Development Zone with the goal of expanding the temperature control and refrigeration industry.In China,it is the Danfoss Group\'s first wholly-owned subsidiary.Danfoss has invested in various expansions after more than two decades of development.Danfoss invested in the construction of the"Danfoss Global Refrigeration R&D and Testing Center"in the park in 2021,deepening its partnership with the development zone.Danfoss has also established the world\'s first all-green and ecologically friendly refrigerant testing facility.
The project for the Danfoss Global Refrigeration R&D and Testing Center spans 24,712.5 square meters,with a total construction area of 7,306.61 square meters and a total investment of 140 million RMB.It focuses on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning compressor inverter technology,heat pump applications,and environmentally acceptable refrigerant alternatives for R&D and testing.The test center will significantly improve Danfoss\'innovation and production capacity,as well as provide strong hardware support for refrigeration product development and long-term technology reserve,which is critical to Danfoss\'global R&D layout and the refrigeration industry\'s green development.
According to Dai Jian,Danfoss will increase its investment in the development zone,joint universities,and research institutes in the future to train technical experts in a targeted manner,and will also use the Internet of Things and the resources of Tianjin\'s National Supercomputing Center to establish a digital R&D platform for Danfoss,and will transform the R&D and testing center from an internal R&D institution to a"outward-looking"R&D center.
