Contract Again. The Program on Platform of Application and Conversion of Research, Development and Technological Achievements in Nankai University Got Settled in Wuqing Development Zone
On the morning of January 8,Wuqing Development Zone and College of Pharmacy in Nankai University held a contract-signing ceremony,and the program of‘Platform of Application and Conversion of Research,Development and Technological Achievements in College of Pharmacy in Nankai University’got officially settled in Wuqing Development Zone.Yang Cheng,Dean of the College of Pharmacy of Nankai University,Zhang Yuewei,Deputy Director of the Biomedicine Division of Tianjin Science and Technology Bureau,and Liu Donghai,Deputy District Chief of Wuqing District attended the meeting.More than 20 people including principals of the district health committee,science and technology bureau,investment promotion bureau and relevant responsible comrades of Wuqing Development Zone,as well as representatives of biomedical institutions and enterprises presented the ceremony.
Liu Donghai indicated that Wuqing is a major constitute of the grand pattern of‘one shaft and four cities’marked by coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and thus enjoys a broad development prospect and unique geological advantages.In recent years,following the unified deployment of the central government,the municipal Party committee and the municipal government,the new development concept has been thoroughly implemented,and the‘five major innovation platforms’have been taken advantage of as the starting point to actively create an industrial ecological support that proves conducive to growth and development of the enterprise,and the overall development quality has continuously ascended a new level.Wuqing will staunchly establish the concept of"industry first,entrepreneurial forerunner"and"serving others amounting to developing of oneself",wholeheartedly provide high-quality services,go to the great lengths to promote project construction,and work closely with enterprises for win-win development.
It is known that the College of Pharmacy of Nankai University has been closely adhering to the major national strategic needs on public health,stressing breakthroughs in key technologies from drug discovery to pre-clinical research,continuously improving independent innovation capabilities and obtaining a series of innovative research results and a number of clinical approvals for new drugs on basic and applied research of critical diseases and their clinical conversions.The two parties reached consent that Wuqing Development Zone and the College of Pharmacy of Nankai University would jointly establish the‘Platform of Application and Conversion of Research,Development and Technological Achievements in College of Pharmacy in Nankai University’.The platform is to empower development of bio-pharmaceutical industry in Wuqing Development Zone and further propel congregated development of bio-pharmaceutical industry in Wuqing on such fronts as conversion of technological attainments,technological transfer,synthetic strength and so on.
