On January 28,Wuqing Development Zone entered into contract with ECM Corporation of France(hereinafter referred to as ECM Group)and the research,development and manufacturing program of ECM high-end industrial vacuum equipment got settled in Wuqing Development Zone.
A world-renowned manufacturer of vacuum equipment,ECM Corporation in France was founded in 1928.It gains global fame for innovation,technology,craftsmanship,solutions and services.With its headquarter based in Grenoble,France,it has 5 production bases,R&D platforms and metallurgical laboratories in France.The vacuum furnace of ECM Group has a history of over five decades and is a forerunner in the global vacuum heat treatment equipment industry.Its low-pressure vacuum carburizing equipment tops the world in marketing shares.It has opened up 15 international subsidiaries worldwide(China,India,the United States,Germany,etc.),with annual sales approximating to 100 million euros,and product sales accounting for 75%of the global market share.Its main customer industries involve automobiles,aviation,electronics,photovoltaics,nuclear energy,medical treatment,materials and the like.
It has been mutually agreed that ECM Group is to open its first China-based R&D base in Wuqing Development Zone that is primarily specialized at research,development and production of industrial vacuum equipment under varying series.This program takes aim at introducing the low pressure vacuum carburizing equipment of ICBP series from ECM Group for domestication so as to apply world’s advanced green,environmental and energy-conservative vacuum carburizing equipment to be produced within China’s border and to offer technologically advanced,environmental and energy-conservative vacuum carburizing equipment and services to domestic clients in heat processing field before propelling upgrade and renewal of devices in domestic heat processing food and application of advanced heat processing techniques and hence elevate level and competitiveness of the domestic heat processing field.With rented plants stretching 2900 square meters and an initial input of about 5 million euros,the program is projected to yield an annual throughput of about 100 million Yuan in five years.
