2020 AI-empowered Media Merge(Tianjin)Summit Forum was held in Wuqing District on October 30.‘Smart Media International Innovation Industry Pilot Zone’Program was officially settled in Wuqing Development Zone.Shi Gang,Deputy Director in the Propaganda Department of Tianjin Municipal Committee,Dai Dongqiang,Secretary of Wuqing District Commission,Xue Mei,member of the standing committee of the District and director of the Propaganda Department of the District Commission,and Li Fuguo,Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Wuqing Development Zone Head Corporation,presented the forum.
In the address,Xue Mei indicated that Wuqing,located between Beijing and Tianjin,enjoyed the unique geological advantage during the period to wrestle for the major strategic opportunity of coordinated development in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei,and also was equipped with the basic advantage of advancing AI digital industry and the policy advantages to encourage and back up development of artificial intelligence and online audio-visual industry.A window for reform and open-up in Wuqing and a bellwether in guiding innovation,propelling transformation and countenancing development,Wuqing Development Zone is widely lauded‘the most appealing hot land for investment between Beijing and Tianjin’.Establishment of‘Smart Media International Innovation Industry Pilt Zone’not just brings about industrial congregation of AI and online audio-visual sector to Wuqing Development Zone and sets up and works out the ecological chain of smart media industry,it can become the main battlefield for advancing merged development of AI and audio-visual industry.
In the Forum,Wuqing Development Head Corporation entered into cooperation protocols with Guoguang Oriental Network(Beijing)Co.,Ltd.,China Mobile Communications Tianjin Co.,Ltd.and Zhonguan Zhicheng Technologies(Tianjin)Co.,Ltd.and the four parties are to join hands in launching‘Smart Media International Innovation Industry Pilot Zone’and building‘Guoguang Oriental AI Smart Center’.Xu Mei and Li Fuguo conferred letter of appointment to senior consultants and industrial/academic consultants for‘Smart Media International Innovation Industry Pilot Zone’.
It is known that the set-up of‘Smart Media International Innovation Industry Pilot Zone’is to give full play to the geological advantages of Wuqing in synergy development of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei,hardware advantages of AI digital basic facilities and political advantages to appeal to AI and network visual-audio industry.It takes aim at fostering new media,new technologies and new business form,and forming a battlefield for exchange of new industrial concepts and a cooperation platform to congregate industrial resources in the era marked by 5G and smart media with AI technologies as the core seizure and molding of a state‘online visual-audio industry base’as its objectives.
