Gens Key Medical Laboratory Passed the EQA of National COVID-19 Nucleic Acid Detection with Full Score

 Recently, the results of COVID-19 EQA organized by the National Center for Clinical Laboratories were released publicly, and the test laboratory of Tianjin Gens Key Medical passed COVID-19 EQA with full score.

The EQA (external quality assessment) is verification activity that evaluates, supervises and validates the laboratory\'s ability in order to ensure that the laboratory maintains a high level of testing. A number of laboratories analyze the same specimen, and the results reported by the laboratory shall be collected and fed back by external independent organizations. By this means, the laboratory\'s operational process can be evaluated to determine the laboratory\'s calibration and testing abilities and monitor its sustainability through inter-laboratory comparisons.
The Gens Key Medical laboratory is located in the Entrepreneurial Headquarters Base of Wuqing Development Area. Its core technology is the high-throughput detection technology of infectious pathogens, which provides overall, accurate and rapid detection products and services for medical workers. In February, the Gens Key Medical laboratory successfully passed the COVID-19 EQA organized by Shanghai Center for Clinical Laboratory (CNAS PT0025) and Shanghai Center for Laboratory Quality Control Center. Its passing the national COVID-19 EQA with full score this time strongly proved the detection ability of Gens Key Medicial once again.
