Great! A New City-Level Mass Innovation Space Established in Wuqing Development Area
Recently, the municipal science and technology bureau announced the results of 2019 Tianjin municipal level mass innovation space review, three units in Wuqing District have passed the review, and the Beijing-Tianjin Mass Innovation Space operated and managed by Tianjin Beijing-Tianjin Science and Technology Research Institute co., ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "Research Institute") was listed.
Located in the international enterprise community of Wuqing Development Area, the Research Institute is the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei collaborative innovation platform jointly established by Beijing Academy of Science and Technology, Tianjin Science and Technology Commission and People\'s Government of Wuqing District. Established in June 2018, Beijing-Tianjin Mass Innovation Space is a novel technology carrier with the development orientation of relying on the high-quality scientific and technological resources of Beijing and in combination with Tianjin\'s development needs, providing integrated services such as incubation, innovation and R&D for Innovation and entrepreneurship teams. Its entrepreneurial mentor team includes university professors, business leaders, investment and financing experts to provide professional guidance to entrepreneurs with policy interpretation, entrepreneurial training, entrepreneurial investment and financing, research and development achievements transformation and other areas. Since its establishment, Beijing-Tianjin Mass Innovation Space has introduced 16 innovation and entrepreneurship teams including smart city, network information security, new energy, medical health, smart fire control, energy conservation and environmental protection technology, with a total employment of nearly 100 people. In 2019, the total output value of the enterprises exceeded RMB2 million, forming a good innovation and entrepreneurship ecology.
At present, the development area has cultivated 5 mass innovation spaces in total, including 1 state-level innovation space, 3 municipal-level innovation space. In the next step, the development area will continuously improve the service level of science and technology, step up the support and construction of the mass innovation space platform, actively give full play to the role of platform incubator, construct a creation and entrepreneurial ecological system with complete elements, perfect functions, open cooperation and professional service, provide services for more entrepreneurs and industries, and promote the high-quality development of the park.
