On November 5, Xu Datong, District Party Committee Secretary, met with Torben Christensen, the President of Danfoss Group Global Service, etc. in the district administration center to deeply communicate the expansion project of Danfoss compressor plant. Liu Donghai, the Deputy District Mayor, Du Xuemin, the Director General of District Merchants Group, Zhang Shaofeng, the Secretary of Working Committee and the Director of Management Committee in Wuqing Development Zone, and Lang Cong, the Deputy General Manager in the development zone, participated in the meeting.
Xu Datong extended a warm welcome to Torben Christensen, etc. He pointed out that Danfoss, as the leader in the global energy saving and environment protecting field, leads the world in the refrigeration, heat supply, water processing and driving control manufacturing industry, and acts as one of the largest transnational industrial groups in Denmark. Danfoss has cooperated with Wuqing for 22 years, and has made outstanding contribution to the economic development in Wuqing. Both parties have profound friendship. Wuqing will adhere to the concept of "serving others means developing oneself" as always, wholeheartedly serve Danfoss project, proactively help enterprises coordinate to solve problems and help the enterprises in development in order to achieve the mutual benefit and win-win result.
Torben Christensen indicated Danfoss entered China in 1996 and established the first regional production base- Danfoss (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. in Wuqing Development Zone. Now, Tianjin Company has become the maximum production base of Danfoss out of Denmark and the Asia-Pacific manufacturing center, and it is the model for successful development of Denmark enterprises in Tianjin, which can\'t do without the attention and support of Wuqing District Committee and District Government on Danfoss for many years. In the next step, Danfoss will integrate the Group strength to spare to drive the construction of new projects and to continuously contribute to the high-quality development of Wuqing.
It is known that the Danfoss Group was established in 1933, and established 58 factories and 47 sales companies in 18 countries in the global. At present, Danfoss (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. owns two factory areas in Phase I and Phase II of Wuqing Development Zone, which cover an area of 275 mus and mainly produce the refrigeration equipment and firefighting equipment such as thermal expansion valve, temperature regulator, water valve, condensing unit, commercial compressor, refrigerating compressor, etc., in which the thermal expansion valve of key products accounts for 40% market share in the global. Such negotiation of the cooperation project plans to lease the construction plant or purchase about 100 mus land in Wuqing Development Zone, which is used to expand the factory of compressor and new products.
